Toxicity prediction and prioritization of pharmaceuticals in the aquatic ecosystems

Abstract: This lecture will include four parts as following:1) Assessment of river sediment toxicity: Combining zebrafish embryotoxicity testing with in silico toxicity characterization. 2) Toxicity prediction and effect characterization of pharmaceuticals and illicit drugs in plasma of fish from river. 3) Combining short-term bioassays (fish and crustacean) with ToxCast in vitro data and broad-spectrum chemical analysis for environmental risk assessment of the river water. 4) Estimating risk of prioritized pharmaceuticals in freshwaters using zebrafish embryotoxicity test.
